Hello Cuz Michael!

And to think I nearly didn't respond to your posting! I am thegreat
granddaughter of Elizabeth Hannah Arnison Clement. Who are you
descended
from? Was the information you sent from a census record? If so,what

census?
I have been researching my great grandfather, Richard Rawes Clement.

When
searching the records in Morecome Bay, Lancashire, Eng., I discovered

the
marriage and christening records of some of the members of myArnison

family.
I have not actively researched the Arnison family as yet, butwould
appreciate
any information you may have. I was fortunate to locate the graves
of my
great grandparents in Sault Ste Marie, Ont. at Greenwood Cemetery.
Elizabeth's headstone shows her birth date as 1855. This summermy
mother and
I were able to meet a grand daughter of Elizabeth and RichardClement

for the
first time. It's amazing, since we live in Michigan and theylived
in Sault
Ste Marie, that my mother had never met her grandparents (Elizabeth
and
Richard Clement) or her first cousin. There are lots of descendents
of
Richard and Elizabeth in the Soo. Richard and Elizabeth, knownas
Hannah,
immigrated to the Soo in 1909 or 1910. She always said her brother
had
invested in diamond mines in S. Africa. Do you know anythingabout
this?

Since several of Thomas and Jane Arnison's children have the middle
name
Wilson or the initial W, I believe Jane's maiden name must havebeen
Wilson.

>From the records of Christ Church, parish of Poulton le Sands,
Lancaster,
England, I have the following information:

23 Dec 1899 John James Topham, age 20, laborer, father-James Topham

lab.
married Louise Hebdel Arnison, age 20, father-Thomas Arnison,

laborer
Louise shows her residence as 37 Prospect St., Lancaster. The
witness at the
marriage were: James Wilson Arnison and Agnes Ann Airey

3 Dec 1887 James Mashiter, age 26, Joiner, f- Robert Mashiter,
Joiner
married Jane Ellen Arnison, age 26 , f- Thomas Arnison,
Laborer
Jane shows her residence as Dalton Sq., Lancaster. Witness atthe
marriage
were:
George Bellman and Rebecca Lounly Hroxs of Hrofs (the middle andlast

name are
difficult to read)

29 Jun 1873 Robert Mashiter, age 44 Wid. , Joiner f-Thomas
Mashiter,
Laborer
married Agnes Collison, age 37, spinster, f-Moses Collison,
Stone
mason
(Robert is the father of James Mashiter, above)

13 Sep 1892 Richard Rawes Clement, age 27, Wid., Driver f-Richard
Clement
married Elizabeth Hannah Arnison, age 36 Spinster, f-Thomas
Arnison
(at the time of their marriage, Thomas was a watchman).. Witnesswere

James
WIlson Arnison and Margaret Anne Arnison

23 Feb 1895 Robert Dodd, age 22 , laborer, f-Robert Dodd, laborer
married Mary Grace Arnison, age 22, f-Thomas Arnison,

witness at the marriage were: Richard Rawes Clement and AgnesDodd
(sister of
Robert Dodd)

Chr. 4 Nov 1865 William Wilson Arnison son of Thomas and Jane
Arnsion.
The chr. occured at St. John in Preston.

I hope this info is helpful and will sent info on descendentsof
Richard and
Elizabeth if you would like. Please email and tell me somethingof
your line
